Core Values

Revelation before action

In John 5:19, Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. Our desire is to always seek God before making any decision. When in doubt, we will wait for further revelation and confirmation from the Holy Spirit. We value the prophetic gift of hearing the voice of God and undergird every decision and event with prayer and collective discernment.

Robust Faith

Our goal is that each one of us will mature into fully devoted disciples of Christ (Eph 4:11-16). We are intentional to teach the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27 – for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.)

Relationship above function

Over the years, we've realised the importance of prioritising relationship over programs and efficiency. Love and honor one another (Rom 12:10 – “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”) Make every effort to maintain unity within the church (Eph 4:1-3 – “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.)

Authenticity

We believe one of the catalysts for deeper life transformation is when we are willing to be open and vulnerable. Hence, create a safe place for people to experience biblical community and healing. Authenticity trumps hype.

Sonship over service

Know our identity as children of God and serve out of that relationship. Romans 8:15 "The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba,Father.” Avoid the slavery and performance mentality.

Godly legacy

God is the God of generations. It is His desire to see His purposes fulfilled in every generation (Acts 13:36). Hence we are committed to reach and disciple the next generation (Ps 78:4) and passing on the baton of God’s purposes to them (2 Tim 2:2) The family is instituted by God as the basic unit of society and primary setting in which biblical values are learned and the capacity for close relationships with God and others is developed. Hence, we are passionately committed to (Eph 5:22-6:4): Build strong marriages Honor our parents and elders in our family Equip parents to raise children to fear and love God Advocate the family in our nation
